1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Stratask.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stratask application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

3. Description of Service

Stratask is a personal productivity and task management system designed to help users capture, organize, review, and execute commitments.

Features may include:

Task management
Project management
Delegated task tracking
Email capture
AI-assisted suggestions
OCR and image processing
Productivity insights

Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

By using Stratask, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account
Keeping login credentials confidential
All activities occurring under your account

You must provide accurate account information.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and store within Stratask, including:

Tasks
Projects
Notes
Images
Attachments
Other user-generated content

You grant Stratask a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

7. Artificial Intelligence Features

Stratask may provide AI-generated recommendations, suggestions, classifications, summaries, or other automated outputs.

AI-generated content:

May contain inaccuracies
May be incomplete
Should not be relied upon without review

Users remain solely responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions.

Stratask does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate applicable laws
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Distribute malware or harmful code
Abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
Use the Service for unlawful activities

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Availability of Service

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may be unavailable due to:

Maintenance
Technical issues
Third-party outages
Security incidents

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Data Backup and Responsibility

While reasonable efforts are made to protect user data, Stratask is not a backup service.

Users are responsible for maintaining copies of important information if required.

Stratask does not guarantee that data loss will never occur.

11. Subscription Services

Certain features of Stratask require a paid Premium subscription. The available subscription plans, prices, billing periods, and included features are displayed in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are processed and managed by Google Play and are subject to its applicable payment terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Users can manage or cancel their subscription through their Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and Premium access remains available until then.

Stratask may offer a complimentary Premium trial to eligible new users. The duration and conditions of any trial will be presented when the trial begins. Unless explicitly stated otherwise before activation, a complimentary trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.

Prices and subscription features may change. Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated and handled in accordance with Google Play requirements and applicable law.

If payment cannot be completed, or when a subscription or trial expires, the account may revert to the free plan. The user will lose access to Premium features, but the account and existing user content will not be deleted solely because the subscription ends. Certain content may become subject to the storage or usage limits of the free plan.

Payments, cancellations, and refund requests are generally handled by Google Play in accordance with its policies. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stratask disclaims all warranties, including:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Availability
Accuracy

We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skjalg Thomassen AS shall not be liable for:

Loss of data
Loss of profits
Business interruption
Indirect damages
Consequential damages
Reliance on AI-generated outputs

Total liability relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Stratask during the previous twelve months.

If no fees have been paid, liability shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

You may delete your account through available account settings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms
Present security risks
Are used fraudulently or unlawfully

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy available at: https://stratask.app/privacy

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the application, website, or other appropriate means.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
